报告摘要：Compared with 3d electron systems, strong spin-orbit coupling is a key feature of 4d and 5d strongly correlated systems. In this talk, I will discuss the effects of the spin-orbit interaction and its interplay with crystal-field splitting in the presence of Coulomb interactions. I focus mainly on Fermi surface of Sr2RuO4 and Sr2RhO4, metal-insulator transition and magnetic Higgs modes in Ca2RuO4, in addition to magnetic superexchange interactions in Sr2IrO4.
